What is AM2S?

The Achievement Measurement 2S (AM2S) assessment, administered by PooleAM2 Ltd on behalf of National Electrotechnical Training (NET) Organisation in conjunction with the Joint Industry Board (JIB), is the electrotechnical industry standard assessment for electrical competence. Forming an essential part of the Electrical Advanced Apprenticeship, the purpose is to ensure all qualified electricians achieve a single standard that has been agreed by employers as meeting their needs from qualified personnel.

AM2S provides an independent, reliable and trusted measure of safe, high quality workmanship for the electrotechnical industry and is highly valued by employers, who regard it as evidence of competence for an electrician, also forming part of the evidence required to apply for the ECS `Gold Card`.
